Being born in the heart of Texas, there was no option for The Jag to not like football. Living all his life in a small Class
2A town of Franklin, TX, football was the only thing to do on weekends. I knew no other life. Spending most my high school
career running, lifting weights, and dedicating my life to playing football, I contemplated many times if it was worth it.
You never realize how much it was worth it until your last game of your career is over. I think back many times if there were
4 years I'd go back and live all over again, it would be the years I played football. Even though we had a losing season my
last year, I did receive All District honors as linebacker. A reward and moment that I'll cherish forever because I was told
I was too small to play that position. After high school, I ran into this thing called the internet. That is when I decided
to show everyone my love and passion for football with The Jag's Top 25 website. The Jag follows Hurricane football with a
passion. At 7 years old, I remember Doug Flutie getting lucky with the Hail Mary to beat my Miami team. I have followed Cane
football ever since. The Jag also follows the Texas Longhorns and Texas A&M Aggies, but Miami will be forever my favorite.
I invite your comments hope to see you as a pollster this year!!!
